Even the sculpture in front of the building - "Round Table" by artist Tina Schwichtenberg - conveys the spirit of the house: the replicas of traditional pottery from around the world placed in a circle invite dialogue and international encounters.

Lübeck "Vor dem Burgtor" Youth Hostel has been certified by the ADFC (Allgemeiner Deutscher Fahrrad-Club - General German Bicycle Club) as being bike-friendly accommodation. It offers a generous breakfast buffet. We can provide you with packed lunches for your journey. You can let wet clothes and equipment dry overnight in a drying room.
